Abhay S Mehta, Director of Mehta Jewellery joined the business at the age of 15 to assist his father- Mr Surendra Mehta, the brain behind Mehta Jewellery and Bapalal Diamonds, the pioneers of diamond trade in Southern India. Training under the best in the business, Abhay learnt the nuances of crafting gold & diamond jewellery, and specialised in diamond grading. His passion for the craft and the business, led him to earn a graduate degree in Gemology from the Gemological Institute of America. He loves and thrives on creativity; his creations being a testament. Owing to his legacy, Abhay wishes to develop a strong design, manufacturing and creative think tank for Mehta Jewellery.
